The Latchis Hotel and Theatre, Southern Vermont's Art Deco treasure at the corner of Main and Flat Streets in Brattleboro, Vermont. The Latchis is easily accessible from I-91, Route 9, and Route 5, and provides a wonderful setting for vacation, business, and corporate travel needs.
Our accommodations range from economical Twin to Full Suites, as well as a conference facility options. We offer free High Speed wireless Internet in all guestrooms, as well as business services including copy, fax, mail, and internet printing through our Guest Services. Our large windowed Lobby Cafe is the perfect spot to relax, check your email or people watch. Brattleboro has an active Main Street with plenty to see, do and eat.
During September and October 2011, we took the opportunity to give the Latchis Hotel lobby an update and refresh,with great attention to historic colors and visuals. The dramatic change has received rave reviews from our guests and locals. Our carefully planned efforts created an updated and relaxing guest experience. Our winter plans are to continue the refresh throughout more of our public areas. Select guest rooms are scheduled for "coloring" over the winter months. Forward movement and change keep it exciting for our guests.
The historic Latchis Theatre is open for business as usual after Hurricane Irene. The beautiful "architectural" or "atmospheric" interior of the main auditorium is a popular venue for local musical artists and groups as well as special live events and regularly scheduled feature films.
